About Re·gen Smile Studio

What regenerative dentistry means here
Re·gen Smile Studio is a regenerative dental studio on Lincoln Avenue in Lakeview. For us, regenerative means the whole mouth: the gums, the bone, the jaw and whatever is causing the problem, as well as the tooth in front of us. A tooth is only as healthy as the mouth around it.
Some people come to us for a cleaning, some with a broken tooth, some wanting to change their smile. Whether you're keeping a healthy smile or rebuilding one, we start where you are.
A family of dentists
Dr. Erin Cho is a second-generation dentist. She grew up around her father's dental practice and spent years practicing alongside her dad and her brother before opening Re·gen in Lakeview.
She wanted to bring the warmth of that family practice to the city, as the kind of dental home she'd want for her own family: calm, personal, and focused on long-term health instead of quick fixes. The name comes from the part of dentistry that means the most to her, helping people heal and stay well over time.

What a visit here is like
At most dental visits, you're told what's wrong and asked to take it on trust. We'd rather you see it. Most visits here start with your photos, X-rays or 3D scan up on the screen, and we walk you through them, so you understand what's happening in your own mouth, and why, before you decide anything.
Even when you come in about one tooth, we look at your bite, your habits and your gums to understand why it happened. Treat the cause, and the repair lasts. Dr. Erin likes to start with the most conservative option that will still do the job.
We recommend what you need and nothing more. Sometimes that's a plan, and sometimes it's keeping an eye on things until your next visit. When it's appropriate, wellness scans and saliva testing help us catch small changes early, while they can still be treated gently.

Part of the neighborhood
